Terms of Service
By downloading or using Ring Identifier ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Ring Identifier provides AI-assisted identification of rings from photos, including structured details such as materials, gemstones, key characteristics, and similar matches for personal use. Results are generated by AI — always verify before making purchase, insurance, or appraisal decisions.
2. Subscriptions
Pro features (unlimited identifies) require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Plans may include weekly and yearly options. Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Subscriptions or Google Play → Subscriptions.
Free users receive a limited number of successful identifies. We may change free limits with reasonable notice.
3. Platform terms
In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and/or Google Play’s Terms of Service, as applicable.

4. Acceptable use
Do not submit illegal content or attempt to abuse the API (automated bulk requests, circumventing rate limits, scraping, etc.). We may suspend access for violations.
5. AI disclaimer
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain errors. Ring Identifier is not a substitute for a professional jeweler, gemologist, or formal appraisal. We do not guarantee valuations, authenticity certificates, or insurance outcomes.
6. Intellectual property
The app, branding, and design are owned by TQ Tech. You retain rights to the photos you input. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the identification service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of AI-generated content or the service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms or the app features. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
